shreya vadrevu is an urbanist and architectural designer. using mixed media, videos, and maps, her creative research spans academia and the spatialization of [un]sites and vacuum interventions. 

her latest work, “path to hell”, lies at the intersection of third culture, hybridism, and decolonial research. the exhibit was designed out and around a cabinet. it satires the technologies of the architect’s tendency to narrow the vision from the complex realities that exist to more simplified, legible forms through representation. 

shreya holds a masters of urban design from the university of michigan, ann arbor and a bachelors of architecture from pes university, bengaluru. she currently works as an architectural designer in the k-12 education space. she teaches architectural visualization at university of texas.
